Job Description ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel PACU RN - 12 Hour Days Shift/n/n Location/n Not specified /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n 12-hour day shifts from 0800 to 2030 with call requirements of 4-6 per 4-week schedule, including a mix of first and second call. /n/nJob Description/n The position involves working in the PACU, providing care to patients recovering from surgery, including orthopedic and neurological cases. The unit consists of 9 PACU bays and 16 same-day surgery (SDS) bays. Nurses are required to assess and manage patients in both Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery areas. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia. /n - Administer medications and manage patient care as needed. /n - Communicate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals regarding patient status. /n - Maintain accurate patient records utilizing EPIC charting system. /n - Provide education and support to patients and their families. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - 2-3 years of experience in PACU or relevant specialty. /n - 2-3 previous travel assignments. /n - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS. /n - Ortho/Neuro experience is preferred. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
