Ultrasound Tech Location: Alexandria, VA Agency: Seven Healthcare Pay: $3,575 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Location: Alexandria, Virginia, USA Specialty: Sonographer Type: Travel Schedule: 5x8s Days Time: 13 weeks Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced OB Sonographer for a leading Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) department in Alexandria, Virginia . This role is ideal for a Sonographer with strong OB/MFM experience, excellent diagnostic accuracy, and confidence in performing high-risk obstetric imaging-including nuchal translucency (NT) scans . Why Join Seven Healthcare? $3,575.00 weekly Travel & lodging assistance License & certification reimbursement Weekly direct deposit Referral bonus opportunities Dedicated 24/7 recruiter support throughout your contract Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality obstetric ultrasound examinations, including: Early OB / viability Detailed anatomy scans Growth and BPP studies Nuchal translucency scans (required) High-risk and MFM-driven imaging protocols Support physicians and MFM specialists with ongoing fetal assessments Document and evaluate fetal growth, placenta, amniotic fluid index, and Doppler studies Prepare imaging findings and collaborate with perinatologists, nurses, and clinical staff Maintain imaging equipment, ensure exam-room readiness, and follow strict safety and privacy standards Provide compassionate patient care and education throughout the scanning process Schedule Details 8-hour day shifts 40 hours/week 13-week travel assignment Qualifications 1-2 years of OB/MFM sonography experience (required) Must have experience scanning nuchals ARDMS certification in Obstetrics required NT certification preferred but not required Active BLS certification (AHA only) Strong fetal imaging competency and knowledge of common OB/MFM diagnoses Why Work in Alexandria, VA?
