Responsible for performing various Journeyman-level tasks in maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical power and control systems for conveying and processing in the construction aggregates industry. Technical Assistance (25%) Support the Regional Operations and Electrical Engineering department in providing technical assistance to all locations as requested. Competent in use of digital multi-meters, meggers, and other electronic instruments for field troubleshooting. Perform other related duties as needed Trouble Shooting Power / Control wiring & electrical repair (25%) Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems including power, controls, and motors Document changes to field drawings. Preventative Maintenance (30%) Maintain electrical spare parts and supplies inventory on service vehicle and in regional storage locations Inspect wiring and equipment for proper installation. Administer electrical preventive maintenance programs Electrical Construction & Supervision (20%) Manage small electrical jobs. Schedule and monitor electrical contractors on minor projects and maintenance work. Qualified candidates will possess a Virginia Electrical Journeyman's license, have 4+ years experience as an Electrician, a clean driving record, be self-managed and have the ability to work with minimum supervision, will show the ability to exercise good maintenance practices, able to test, diagnose, calibrate, and repair various devices, Proficient in NEC, has working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, will have strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
