livable planet.The Corporate Risk Management Department (CRM) is
responsible for comprehensive risk management at a corporate level,
including Financial Risk, Risk Strategy, Model Risk, Data
Analytics, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Reporting,
Operational Risk Management (ORM), and Business Continuity. Of
these functions, the Enterprise Risk and Reporting, Operational
Risk, and Business Continuity reside within the Non-Financial Risk
Unit (CRMNF) of the CRM Department.CRM is currently seeking an ETC
to support the ERM and ORM programs. This role involves maturing
ERM and ORM program capabilities, identifying enterprise-level and
operational risks, and supporting the effort to develop risk
appetite statements for enterprise and operational risks, among
other program initiatives.The Risk Officer Analyst will report to
the Head of the CRMNF Unit and will work closely with other members
of the ERM and ORM teams.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCRMNF is
seeking one ETC to provide support in delivering its ERM and ORM
programs. As such, s/he will be expected to support both programs
on specific assignments related to the maturation of the ERM and
ORM programs. These assignments will include the following duties
and responsibilities.--- Contribute to the development and
implementation of a robust enterprise risk management (ERM)
framework that aligns with industry best practices and
organizational objectives.--- Support the identification of
potential enterprise level risks that could affect IFC.--- Assist
in developing and maintaining a risk register to manage enterprise
risk. Support the design and implementation of strategies to
mitigate identified enterprise risks.--- Support the development of
IFC's enterprise risk appetite statements and supporting metrics in
collaboration with other departments within IFC.--- Contribute to
the fostering of a risk-aware culture within the organization by
delivering risk awareness education, and training initiatives.---
Contribute to CRMCA's overall ORM program.--- Support ORM
activities such as conducting Risk Assessments; performing Root
Cause Analyses; Scenario Analysis; among others.--- Conduct data
analysis on ORM data from activities conducted as part of the ORM
program.--- Help promote and raise awareness of operational risk(s)
through various channels.Selection Criteria--- A minimum of a
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Finance, Business,
Economics, Mathematics or related areas.--- Excellent writing
skills and communication skills in general.--- Very good project
management skills and ability to keep track of various
deliverables.--- 2 years of work experience in finance or risk
management is preferred.--- General knowledge of financial markets
and investment products.--- Ability to work independently with
little supervision.--- A strong work ethic and a solid team player
to work in the international and multicultural work environment
within CRMNF and across the IFC.--- Organizational skills and the
ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines and work efficiently in
multicultural teams.--- Strong interpersonal skills, analytics
skills, attention to detail and resourcefulness.WBG Culture
