Job Description:

Overview To coordinate and conduct complex system analyses feasibility studies and implementation studies of potential computer applications to determine the advisability and profitability of adapting complex electronic data processing techniques to Navy Federal functional areas under minimal supervision. To compile, research, analyze, and document data, requirements, workflow / processes, and functionality for the Credit Card & Education Lending technology team. To develop and evaluate information and prepare recommendations. To partner with Lending Systems leadership in the creation, management, and maintenance of product boards and product backlogs. Work is performed under general direction.Responsibilities

  • Analyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statistics
  • Uses elicitation techniques to gather information at the right level of detail and scope to represent all of the stakeholder's needs
  • Analyze, define and document technical design for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating systems environment, interface with other systems, internal and external controls and output
  • Identifying business requirements (e.g., needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output
  • Partner with other business units and vendors to improve procedures, resolve problems, and implement initiatives; presents conclusions and recommendations to management
  • Conducts requirements analysis and validation, ensuring requirements are complete, consistent,
  • concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards.
  • Authors wide variety of user stories/features/product backlog items; provides critical feedback to other stories/features/backlog items.
  • Represents requirements using alternative views, such as epics/features/stories/product backlog items, models, diagrams, prototypes, or scenarios, to facilitate communication to the project / product team.
  • Tracks and manages requirements status and changes throughout project / product lifecycle via board/backlog management and maintenance.
  • Creates and communicates artifacts translating business needs into executable requirements
  • Liaises between the lending solutions team and other business and systems areas
  • Solves business problems by defining systems solutions via interviewing stakeholders, identifying, and evaluating alternatives, and presenting findings.
  • Manages medium to large scale projects/product lines independently
  • Recognizes and proactively raises issues or risks along with well-considered solutions.
  • Continually seeks opportunities to improve and increase level of industry/domain-specific knowledge by remaining current with emerging products and technical updates.
  • Presents project, product, or other material at All Hands meetings.
  • Serves as change management lead for business unit; apply change management principles and knowledge to develop strategies including organizational assessments, stakeholder analysis and change roadmaps and plans
  • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
    • Proficient Product Management work experience
    • Significant experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues
    • Possesses and maintains significant experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio; artifacts and deliverables are polished and professional
    • Proficient understanding, knowledge, and work experience monitoring and maintain multiple Azure DevOps boards/projects
    • Demonstrates and applies knowledge in Information Technology solution creation and delivery to assigned project/product.
    • Experience in leading large projects/initiatives which have business risk and impact
    • Significant experience in leading collaborative work teams
    • Significant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
    • Significant experience that demonstrates the ability to research, compile, and document data, business processes, and workflow.
    • Significant experience in market/consumer research, project management, and analysis in support of strategic planning initiatives
    • Experienced in applying Agile principles and Agile Methodology
    • Demonstrates competence in planning, organization, and multi-tasking.
    • Possesses/maintains solid skills with data querying, reporting, and analysis, comfortable recommending solutions to problems
    • Possesses/maintains solid verbal and written communication skills Desired Qualifications
      • Product Management or Requirements Analysis Experience
      • Experience working with vendors
      • Large scale Project Management Experience
      • Desired certifications: SAFe Agilist, SAFe POPM, PMP, CSM, and/or CSPO
      • Ability to explain technical details to a non-technical audience.
      • Experience working in the financial industry with various lending products
        Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Flexible) Occasional overtime and weekends may be required to support project implementations or system outages.
