VCA Animal Emergency Critical Care at The LifeCentre in Leesburg, VA is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician or LVT-eligible to join our team on evenings and overnights!

We are currently offering:

$2,500 Sign On Bonus
Weekend and Overnight Shift Differential Pay
12-hour shifts or 10-hour rotational shifts (3 on / 3 off)

About the Role
We want you to utilize your skills and knowledge to the fullest, while continuing to learn and grow. Duties will include:

Patient triage and assessment
Client education and care
Venipuncture, catheter placement
Laboratory sample collection and processing
Radiology and diagnostic testing
Medication preparation and administration
IV fluids and infusion set up and maintenance
Anesthesia monitoring
Surgical preparation and assisting
Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients
Medical recordkeeping

Qualifications

Licensed Veterinary Technician in Virginia, license-eligible, or enrolled in an AVMA accredited program. Technician students are welcome to apply.
Salary is competitive with consideration taken for experience and discussed upon hiring.
