Job Summary
Under moderate supervision, plan, organize, and design the most efficient and cost-effective layout of organization facilities and buildings including architectural and structural components. Estimate material and labor costs for repairs, replacements, and improvements. Serve as liaison with outside contractors and vendors of equipment and supplies. May be involved in office move coordination.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspections of all Archives facilities, and equipment. Apply best GXP work-practices and techniques to remain in compliance with Facility SOPs and FDA regulatory requirements. Always ensure that, equipment, facilities and materials used in the area of responsibility align with defined standards.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for inspections and service. Keep Management informed on the day-to-day state of the Archives, including irregularities and deviations from the normal. Report key quality and business metrics and use such metrics to drive a culture of continuous process improvement within the realm of responsibility.
• Awareness of technical problems that may affect quality or safety and bringing them to the attention of Facility Manager. Maintain manufacturer's maintenance specifications and industry standards.
• Perform general building maintenance and internal ad hoc maintenance requests to your best ability. Maintain inventory and accountability of all company tools and spare parts and equipment.
• Review daily equipment inspection and maintenance documents and inform Facilities management of any deficiencies and recommendations. Other duties as assigned.
  
  Qualifications:
  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent: higher continuing education in related area considered a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of maintenance, mechanical or electrical experience in a industrial or educational setting
  • Thorough understanding of maintenance, reliability, Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance, and Process Safety Management standard methodologies, preferred
  • Preferred industry experience with machine set-up fundamentals and solid troubleshooting skills
