Kollabio, a growing boutique consulting firm that provides Digital Transformation solutions and services to public and private sector organizations, is seeking a Business Analyst / Product Owner to support the development of a Software-as-a-Service platform for the telecommunications industry. As a Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner, you will shape and execute the product vision in collaboration with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders. Success requires a natural curiosity, ability to define and decompose problems, data-driven insights, and design thinking frameworks to rapidly define and launch minimally viable products and features. This is a senior position that provides ample opportunity to grow while coaching and mentoring other members of a growing team. Were looking for someone who is: * A problem solver. You understand that empathizing with our customers, building relationships with your co-workers, and going deep on the product makes you a better teammate and a better engineer. * A professional who believes in the principles of the Reactive Manifesto and who is excited about the vision to develop high scalable cloud-native software Responsibilities: * Facilitate delivery of end-to-end user experience solutions focused on user needs and business goals * Work with Product Managers and/or other stakeholders to capture business requirements and convert them into Epics, Features and Stories * Compose product backlogs and decompose epics into features and stories * Empower product managers and designers to validate market needs, business requirements, and experience prototypes * Identify and escalate dependencies and risks to project goals and milestones * Define measurable success criteria for new features, monitor the adoption, and communicate impact to all stakeholders * Participate in continuous improvement processes that reduce cycle time and improve quality and impact of development efforts * Evaluate third-party integrations and services that might accelerate time-to-market and minimize the total cost of ownership * Assist the Scrum Master/Product team to meet the objectives of each Sprint * Other job-related duties as assigned Requirements * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent work experience * Minimum 5 years of recent experience working as Business Analyst/Product Owner on an Agile or Scrum team * Minimum 2 years of experience with Agile ALM tools, such as JIRA and Confluence * Experience as a Business Analyst on web-based portal, websites or intranet sites, or other digital/interactive engagements * Demonstrated ability to run Agile ceremonies and apply knowledge of user stories, product backlog refinement, automated testing, and continuous delivery * Experience modeling domain requirements and solution intent as Epics, Features and Stories * Experience with software QA practices including, conducting functional, integration, system, and regression testing * Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management, including communicating technical information to non-technical audiences * A strong intellectual curiosity to continually challenge what exists and explore what should be changed to best meet evolving business and market * Agile certification such as, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Scaled Agile Framework Agilist (SA) or SAFe Certified Product Owner (CPO) Desired Skills &Qualifications: * Experience creating workflows using formal notation such as the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) * Strong understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile Scrum * Work effectively and efficiently as a team member in high-stress and time-sensitive situations * Be willing to assist in other areas including QA, documentation, security compliance * Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills * Experience working in a management consulting or technology consulting firm especially within digital or interactive space Benefits Job Types: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 to $120,000.00 Our Values and Culture We believe everything great starts with inspired people empowered to collaborate, innovate, and deliver awesome customer experiences.
