Answer questions and reassure patient. - Interface with physicist, planning and mold tech at initiation of treatment. Act as liaison with supportive care physicians, nurses and social workersCertification & LicensuresRadiation Technology through ARRT preferredQualificationsAnalytical ability to set up equipment properly and position and align patients and equipment to very close tolerances and recreate such positions on a daily treatment basis. Interpersonal skills necessary to explain therapy and treatment programs to patients to allay apprehensions and elicit their cooperation. Must communicate effectively with physicians/staff/physicist.
