A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Cloud data Architect.

Position type: Full Time Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Reston, VA Hybrid



As a Cloud data Architect., you will:

Responsible for leading architectural decisions for the Cloud, and Data Enterprise Portfolios
Have a deep understanding of technical architecture and have implemented solutions in a cloud environment focused on AWS or Azure
Have knowledge of industry best practices around enterprise cloud security, architectures, and patterns
Have experience implementing security for technical/deployment architectures using AWS Services as well as experience with Engineering Tools and capabilities to solve for inter-service communication, data hydration, application security, platform resiliency etc.
Have technical experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
Provide recommendations to clients with respect to cloud migrations and prepare technical implementation roadmaps for AWS adoption
Create application architecture, data architecture, deployment architectures, functional design specifications and assist with other project deliverables as needed.
Design state-of-the-art technical solutions on AWS that address customers' requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance
Collaborate with other project teams and other laterals such as Information Security, Compliance, Controls etc. on technical solutions



Qualifications:

Experience with micro-services architectures and cloud migration for data is a plus
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Master's degree is preferred or equivalent Desired Experiences
12+ years of progressive hands-on experience in application development with 6 years of solution architecture, systems architecture and engineering, analysis and applications programming, technical team leadership role is required
A minimum of 5 years' experience in working with AWS or Azure as a solution architect is required
Experience with Architecture principles and TOGAF framework is a plus
AWS Professional Certification is preferred. AWS Architecture Associate Certification or equivalent Azure Architecture Associate certification is a MUST
CISSP or any other security certification is a plus
Expertise in managing Enterprise Data platforms including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Data marts is required
Experience with SAS and R technologies is a major plus
Experience with real-time and near real-time streaming data platforms is a huge plus
Expertise in relational, semi-structured and unstructured databases is required
Ability with Python or Java programming is a huge plus
Experience with complex full stack applications and practices for solutions including API, - Micro-Services, Streaming Data Platforms etc. in large

Enterprise Data organizations is a huge plus

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $100-$105/Hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
