We are hiring a part time LPN to work 15-20 hours/week!Schedule: Wednesday and Friday 5a-1:30p, every 3rd Saturday 6a-9aARS Treatment Centers specialize in outpatient treatment of those addicted to opiates. The LPN Dispensing Nurse is responsible for the completeness of all medical aspects of the medical record and works with the Director of Nursing to assure appropriate medical care for patients.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSets up for dispensing of medication and dispenses medication.Monitors medication inventory and reports to charge nurses.Reconciles inventory of Methadone and Suboxone at conclusion of dosingSigns and processes physician orders. Enters notes and inputs flags as per physician ordersProcesses phase change requestsParticipates on Treatment team and regular Medical Meetings as per Licensure standards.Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies.QualificationsGraduation from an accredited nursing program with an active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.Some understanding of substance abuse.Ability to make independent decisions when neededProficient in the use of personal computersExcellent oral and written communication skillsSuccessful completion of State required background check and required training.
