City/StateHarrisonburg, VAOverviewWork ShiftFirst (Days) (United States of America)Sentara RMH Medical Center located in Harrisonburg, Virginia is seeking a full time Adult Echocardiographer!$20,000 Sign on Bonus available and Relocation Assistance can be provided to qualified candidates! Hours: Monday - Friday, day shift, with call every 7th week to include the weekend. The echocardiographer is off the preceding Friday and following Monday of their call weekend. The Echocardiographer must live within a 30-minute drive of the hospital for call purposes.Chat with our Cardiovascular Technology Recruiter every Wednesday from 11:30am to 12:30pm EST.The echocardiographer is expected to perform about 7 exams per day. Specific exams include: adult 2D and 3D transthoracic and transesophageal echo, myocardial strain, contrast (DEFINITY), agitated saline (bubble study), exercise stress echo and dobutamine stress echo. Preliminary reports are generated in Prosolv (Structured Report SW Application). Clinical equipment include state of the art Philips Epic ultrasound systems and EPIC (electronic medical record). Both inpatient and outpatient echo services are located on the Sentara RMH Medical Center main campus within the non-invasive cardiology lab.The Sentara RMH Medical Center echocardiography lab is considered high volume with close to 9,500 procedures performed annually. The lab works closely with our invasive cardiology (structural heart, electrophysiology, diagnostic/interventional cath) and cardiothoracic surgery services.Sentara RMH Medical Center is a 238-bed, Magnet designated hospital located in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
