Job Description:

essential food and related products nationwide. As a CDL Class A
Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and
safe delivery of goods from our warehouses to various customers
including family-owned restaurants and major nationwide chains,
helping maintain the supply chain efficiency that Performance
Foodservice is known for. Ensure safe and timely transportation of
products to customer locations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip
inspections to ensure proper functioning of the vehicle and
compliance with all regulations Maintain accurate records and logs
according to DOT regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch
and operations teams to confirm delivery schedules and address any
on-route issues Perform loading and unloading of products as
needed, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage Follow all company
policies and legislative regulations concerning vehicle operation
and cargo transportation Proficient in operating a tractor-trailer
or other large vehicle Strong understanding of DOT regulations and
safety standards Excellent organizational and time management
skills Ability to handle physical workload Effective communication
