Statement: For over 60 years, Bell-Mark has been developing
innovative solutions for package and carton printing applications
in the medical device, pharmaceutical, prepared foods, meat,
bakery, dairy, and poultry packaging industries. Bell-Mark offers
many in-line printing technologies including piezo inkjet, thermal
inkjet, thermal transfer, flexographic, and ink coder, all of which
satisfy requirements to print directly on package and carton
substrates. Bell-Mark Technologies is currently seeking to fill the
open position in our shipping/receiving department. The chosen
candidate will be assisting with packaging and shipping Bell-Mark
printers, as well as parts/ink, both domestic and internationally.
They will be responsible for making sure all orders get shipped to
the correct destination by the listed due date of the order, all
while assisting to keep the shipping department organized and
maintain a clean and safe working environment. Duties &
Responsibilities: 1. Properly pack and ship printers, parts & ink.
2. Work with Bell-Mark sales team, trucking companies, and brokers
to ensure timely delivery & provide updates on shipments. 3. Keep a
clean and organized workstation. 4. Occasionally make
deliveries/pick-ups from local vendors w/ company vehicle. 5.
Process daily shipments with FedEx, UPS, and DHL. 6. Receive and
inspect inbound shipments’ and ensure they are handed off to the
correct person/ department. 7. Loading and unloading trucks with
pallet jack or forklift. 8. Order and stock shipping supplies. 9.
Keep sales team up to date on the status of orders in shipping. 10.
Answer phone calls and emails accordingly. Qualifications: 1.
Excellent interpersonal skills. 2. Excellent organization/time
management skills. 3. Strong computer skills (Microsoft 365, FedEx
Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip) 4. Strong communication skills both
written and verbal. 5. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations,
including equipment, materials, workflow, etc. 6. Ability to work
with a team or independently. 7. Ability to lift heavy items. 8.
Ability to operate different types of forklifts
(training/certification provided by Bell-Mark). 9. Familiar with
power tools. 10. Shipping and receiving experience is preferred.
11. Valid driver’s license 12. High school diploma or equivalent.
