About the Role We are seeking a professional, responsive, and personable Legal Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients. This role is critical to the firm’s growth. You will be responsible for engaging with potential clients, understanding their situation, and guiding them toward the next step in working with our attorneys. This is not a passive or purely administrative position. Strong communication, responsiveness, and follow-through are essential. The right candidate takes ownership of their work and is comfortable working toward measurable performance goals. This is an on-site role, working closely with our team to deliver a high-quality client experience. Key Responsibilities - Answer inbound calls and respond to new client inquiries promptly and professionally - Conduct structured intake conversations to gather relevant information and assess case fit - Schedule consultations efficiently and accurately - Guide prospective clients through the intake process with clear, confident communication - Follow up consistently with potential clients to ensure no opportunity is missed - Maintain accurate and detailed records in our case management system - Work closely with attorneys and team members to ensure a smooth client experience - Manage multiple inquiries and priorities in a fast-paced environment What Success Looks Like - Fast response to new leads and inquiries - Professional, confident, and personable client interactions - High rate of scheduled consultations from incoming leads - Consistent and timely follow-up - Strong attention to detail and organization - Ownership of your results and performance What We’re Looking For - Prior legal intake experience required (family law, criminal, or personal injury) - Excellent phone presence and communication skills - Ability to build trust quickly with prospective clients - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment - Proactive, reliable, and responsive - Coachable and open to feedback - Ability to communicate naturally and professionally without sounding scripted Preferred Qualifications - Experience in sales, intake, or client-facing roles - Familiarity with CRM or case management systems (e.g., Lawmatics, Clio) - Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Why Join Us We are a fast-paced, team-focused law firm that values professionalism, responsiveness, and strong client service.
