Why join us? * Competitive Compensation * Excellent Benefits Job Details Job Details: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Permanent Worker's Comp Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role will involve working closely with our attorneys in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, handling all aspects of worker's compensation cases from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the worker's compensation process, be proficient in drafting legal documents, and be able to effectively manage multiple priorities. Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in all aspects of worker's compensation cases, from case inception through resolution. Draft broker transition documents, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes, ensuring all documents are organized and easily accessible. Aid attorneys with interrogatories and discovery requests, ensuring all information is accurate and timely. Assist in preparing binders, indexing discovery, and preparing trial exhibits to support case proceedings. Prepare witness preparation binders, ensuring all necessary information is included and presented in an organized manner. Use MS Office tools to manage case files, track case progress, and generate reports. Collaborate with the legal team to ensure all case-related tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Qualifications: 3 years of Worker's Compensation Paralegal experience. Strong knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation, and documentation. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience in drafting broker transition documents and preparing pleadings for filings. Proven ability to maintain pleadings and discovery indexes. Experience in aiding attorneys with interrogatories and discovery requests. Proficiency in assisting in preparing binders, indexing discovery, and preparing trial exhibits. Experience in preparing witness preparation binders. Excellent multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
