Job Description:
In the modern enterprise, digital transformation is predicated
on the availability of trusted, high-fidelity data. Boomi is
seeking a Senior Presales Solutions Engineer with concentrated
expertise in Data Management. In this capacity, you will serve as
the principal technical architect for our North American clients,
addressing the critical challenges of data fragmentation and
quality. While connectivity serves as the foundational layer of the
Boomi platform, your primary objective is to demonstrate how our
suite of tools establishes a "Golden Record" of truth, ensuring
that integrated data assets are governed, accurate, and
strategically aligned with business objectives. What You’ll Do •
Enterprise Data Architecture: Lead the technical design of
end-to-end data management strategies, incorporating Master Data
Management (MDM), Data Stewardship, and automated quality
frameworks. • Strategic Technical Discovery: Conduct deep-dive
discovery sessions to identify systemic data silos and
fragmentation, positioning Boomi’s governance capabilities as the
solution for organizational data synchronization. • Consultative
Value Realization: Partner with Account Executives and C-level
stakeholders (CDO, CTO) to articulate the business impact of data
integrity, moving beyond "point-to-point" integration toward
holistic data lifecycle management. • Technical Validation
Leadership: Direct the execution of high-impact Proof of Concepts
(PoCs) that validate Boomi’s ability to cleanse, enrich, and
synchronize data across complex, heterogeneous environments. •
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Serve as the technical lead for
"Win Teams," coordinating with product specialists to provide
authoritative responses to RFI/RFP requirements concerning data
security and compliance. • Cross-Functional Influence: Act as the
primary subject matter expert (SME) for Data Management within the
AMER sales organization, bridging the gap between technical IT
requirements and business-driven data governance initiatives. The
Experience You Bring • Data Management Foundations: Extensive
experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, and Data
Governance principles. You possess a deep understanding of the
architectural requirements for maintaining data veracity. •
Architecture & Integration Mastery: Proven proficiency in iPaaS
technologies, enterprise service bus (ESB) patterns, and API-led
connectivity as the delivery mechanism for governed data. •
Analytical Communication: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex
data landscapes into clear, executive-level presentations that
highlight strategic ROI. • Solution Design: Demonstrated capability
in designing resilient architectures that incorporate relational
databases, cloud data warehouses, and distributed SaaS ecosystems.
• Professional Acumen: A track record of consultative technical
sales, with the ability to navigate complex organizational
structures and build consensus among technical and business
evaluators. Bonus Points For • Advanced experience with enterprise
Data Governance or Data Cataloging solutions (e.g., Collibra,
Informatica, Lavender, or SAP). • Familiarity with the application
of AI and Machine Learning in the context of automated data
matching and anomaly detection. • Knowledge of global data privacy
and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
