Job Description:
This Position is Subject to Contract Award JANUS Research Group
is currently seeking an Artificial Intelligence SSO for a contract
to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8. The DCS G-8 is the
principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and
the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and
Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning,
Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS, G-8
coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition,
Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming
and process recommendations related to ongoing and future
acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The
DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program
funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization
enterprise. Position Description: Leads analysis and coordination
for Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives within the
Human-Machine Integration portfolio. Provides SME support for
AI-enabled autonomy, data analytics, and decision-support
capabilities across Army modernization efforts. Develops
information papers, briefings, and SPAR/POM inputs addressing
performance, affordability, and ethical implementation. Coordinates
with ASA(ALT), T2COM, CIO/G-6, and ARSTAF to integrate AI
applications into operational and training environments. Relevant
Competencies / Skill Levels: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
and/or Business A minimum of four (4) years of experience and
expertise in Force Development duties Demonstrates expert
analytical and technical skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI)
applications supporting Army decision-support, autonomy, and data
analytics systems. Proficient in assessing algorithm performance,
data quality, and lifecycle integration within modernization and
operational frameworks. Possesses advanced analytical and
communication abilities to develop clear, data-driven insights that
enhance AI-enabled capabilities and inform future force
