Tester with experience in rapid design and development techniques
to respond to customer demands for meeting the challenges of
government healthcare directives. Responsibilities? Develops,
implements, and maintains quality assurance/configuration
management programs in support of a variety of software, hardware,
and services. Establish standards for life cycle, documentation,
development methods, testing, and maintenance. Develops and defines
major and minor characteristics of quality/ configuration
management (including metrics and scoring parameters) and
determines requisite quality control/configuration management
resources for an actual task order. Conducts or participates in
formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the
system life cycle. Serve as liaison between Program Management and
other functional groups to resolve issues regarding quality
assurance/configuration management. Reviews and evaluates software
products and services for adherence to government directives,
standards, and guidelines. May provide daily supervision and
direction to support staff. Attend requirements gathering meetings
to better understand business needs, functional and system
requirements Produce detailed testing documents, including a
testing plan, test cases, test data, and test scripts to automate
and rapidly perform testing iteratively. Develop testing status
reporting tools and methods that will allow stakeholders at various
levels to quickly assess the system status of their focused area
and drill down to get details as needed Collaborate with the
development and analyst to ensure implementation of the needed
business, functional, and system requirements Provide regular and
open communication across the program and stakeholders for
transparency and awareness of progress and impediments. Drive
delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and
metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of
opportunity. Work across stakeholders and teams to continuously
improve. Constantly refine and stay current with emerging themes in
larger Medicare policy and provider community. Perform
Behavior-Driven Development Testing, API testing, and systems
compliance testing Requirements: Required Qualifications: All
candidates must pass public trust clearance through the U.S.
Federal Government. This requires candidates to either be U.S.
citizens or pass clearance through the Foreign National Government
System which will require that candidates have lived within the
United States for at least 3 out of the previous 5 years, have a
valid and non-expired passport from their country of birth and
appropriate VISA/work permit documentation. Minimum of 8 years
previous Test Automation Engineer experience with at least 4 years
of that preformation software testing performance, functional,
behavioral, API, and 508). A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related
scientific or technical discipline; OR In lieu of a degree, ten
years of general information technology experience and at least
eight years of specialized experience may be substituted.
Experience with Agile methodologies. Experience with Atlassian
Jira/Confluence. Strong analytical skills and innovative thinking.
Demonstrated experience working on large integration systems and
executing large-scale projects with large data sets from conception
through implementation. Excellent command of written and spoken
English. Desired Qualifications: Strong knowledge and experience in
software development in an agile environment. Strong experience
with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and/or
Medicaid CHIP data. Test automation experience on data-centric
application and systems; Experienced creating test data for complex
(healthcare, preferred) datasets such as provider,
beneficiary/patient, quality measures and claims data; Experienced
testing APIs; Experienced conducting User Acceptance Testing with
users, collecting inputs from users, and supporting users with
potential workaround. Working Environment : eSimplicity supports a
remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so
we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected
hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by
manager. Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is
