Job Overview USP is seeking a Program Manager Digital Standards to
oversee crossfunctional planning, execution, and delivery across
the growing Digital Standards product and policy ecosystem. This
role ensures coordinated progress across multiple workstreams,
including digital reference standards, qNMR software, supply chain
analytics, digital documentary standards, USP digital method
conversion, policy development, industry pilots, marketing, and
scientific development. The Program Manager will maintain the
Digital Standards master plan, track timelines and dependencies,
ensure budgets are managed responsibly, and flag risks and resource
needs to leadership. As pharmaceutical development and
manufacturing continues its digitalization journey, USP is seeking
to take an active, collaborative role in helping advance
digitalization of analytical development and quality control
workflows through the delivery of chemical reference and analytical
method standards directly into digital environments. This position
will help ensure that resources are used efficiently and processes
are established to help USP scale its Digital Standards portfolio.
This role is hybrid, with an expected travel commitment of up to
10% for planning workshops, crossfunctional meetings, and program
reviews. How will YOU create impact here at USP? As part of our

quality standards. Additionally, USPs People and Culture division,
in partnership with the Equity Office, invests in leadership and

equitable management practices and tools to promote engaged,
collaborative, and results-driven work environments. The Program
Manager, Digital Standards has the following responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the Digital Standards portfolio roadmap,
ensuring alignment across product, scientific, policy, marketing,
and communications workstreams. Lead crossfunctional program
planning activities, coordinating objectives, milestones,
dependencies, and resourcing needs. Track progress of all Digital
Standards initiatives, including product development, policy work,
pilots, marketing campaigns, and scientific deliverables. Establish
and manage project governance structures, including meeting
cadences, decision logs, and issue/risk escalation pathways.
Develop integrated dashboards, portfolio reports, and KPIs for
leadership visibility. Monitor budget allocations, track monthly
actuals, and forecast future spending across program areas.
Identify crossteam risks, bottlenecks, and resourcing gaps; surface
mitigation recommendations to leadership. Maintain documentation
including charters, schedules, risk registers, budget trackers, and
communication plans. Support annual and quarterly planning
activities, ensuring alignment with Digital Standards strategy and
USP priorities. Facilitate crossteam communication to maintain
transparency and ensure coordinated execution across all
workstreams. Success will be measured by ontime delivery of program
milestones, improved coordination and transparency across
workstreams, effective budget oversight, and the ability to
anticipate and resolve risks before they impact strategic
execution. Who is USP Looking For? The successful candidate will
have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to
excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices,
ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with
the following competencies and experience: Bachelors degree in
project management, business, science, engineering, or a related
field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project or program
management, preferably within scientific, digital, regulatory, or
healthcare environments. Experience coordinating crossfunctional
teams and managing complex, multistream programs. Demonstrated
ability to track budgets, manage timelines, and report portfolio
status at an executive level. Familiarity with digital product
development, scientific workflows, or regulatory processes. Strong
communication, organizational, and stakeholdermanagement skills.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project,
Smartsheet, Planner, Asana, Jira). Ability to manage ambiguity and
drive alignment in complex, evolving environments. Experience in
pharmaceutical, scientific, healthcare, nonprofit, or regulated
industries. Additional Desired Preferences PMP, PgMP, Agile, or
other formal project/program management certifications. Experience
supporting regulatory, standardsdevelopment, or structureddata
programs. Experience with portfolio budgeting or multiprogram
financial forecasting. Experience in digital transformation or
scientific/analytical software programs. Demonstrated ability to
design and optimize program governance models. Experience
developing dashboards or reporting systems for senior leadership.
Rigorous commitment to measurement and continuous improvement of
work processes. Experience using AI tools to automate or accelerate
work. Supervisory Responsibilities None, this is an individual

is protected. Compensation Base Salary Range: USD $85,200.00
$108,400.00 annually. Target Annual Bonus: % Varies based on level
of role. Individual compensation packages are based on various
factors unique to each candidates skill set, experience,
