The Opportunity: As an edge software developer, you know that a good system needs the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user-focused solutionWe're looking for an edge developer with the software engineering skills it takes to help identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clientsIn this role, you will develop and maintain scalable back-end infrastructure and ensure continuous integration and deployment of microservicesUsing your software engineering knowledge, y ou will collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to design and implement secure and efficient APIsIn this role, you'll make a mission-forward impact as you sharpen your skillset and grow your careerWork with us as we shape systems for the betterJoin usThe world can't waitYou Have:--- 3+ years of experience in software development using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks--- Experience in Java or C/C++ and with Docker, including Docker Compose--- Experience in Python for automation, data manipulation, and simple API interactions--- Experience with Python testing frameworks, including unit test or pytest--- Experience with implementing and maintaining applications within a Kubernetes environment--- Experience with designing and deploying robust applications using modern deployment strategies--- Experience in writing unit tests to ensure code quality and application functionality--- Experience working on projects that utilize Agile methodology--- Secret clearance--- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Nice If You Have:--- Experience working with microprocessors, including Nvidia Jetson and Raspberry Pi--- Experience with SQL databases, including PostgreSQL.--- Experience in interfacing with software-defined radios and RF techniques--- Experience with AI/ML tools, including deploying and utilizing existing models, and understanding model behaviors--- Knowledge of basic Unix networking concepts , core principles, and standard libraries--- Knowledge of data mesh concepts and tools and networking concepts--- Knowledge of microservice architecture and design principles--- Knowledge of microservice architectures and tools--- Ability to navigate Unix CLI environments--- Ability to interface programmatically with a network component Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
