Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: Undisclosed Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Job Shift: Day Job Category: Health Care Description Multi -Site Manager in the Leesburg/Manassas, VA -Area - Legacy provides Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology and Wellness services in all areas of the post-acute setting. Our corporate office is Raleigh, NC -and we're providing services in 13 -states and D.C. -Legacy provides services solely to the senior population in, free standing Assisted Living and Independent Living Communities. We provide services under contract arrangement at our numerous Medicare certified out-patient clinics. Therapeutic techniques and programs incorporate principles of rehabilitation and healthy aging, emphasizing home and community independence. Our services are both rehabilitative and preventative with a strong component of health and fitness education. Summary: Responsible for the direction and implementation of rehab services at assigned facilities, focusing on managing to facilities' budgeted objectives, customer relations, clinical service delivery, thorough understanding of reimbursement systems that drive On Site Outpatient Clinics, handling details across a broad spectrum of responsibilities and multiple priorities. Instrumental in developing expected caseload of the census in assigned areas, and ability to hire appropriate staffing. Manager must be accountable, customer service oriented, and fiscally responsible with a good understanding of Medicare part B services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following: Interpersonal--- Sophisticated and effective communication with customers , valuable resource and an individual who adds value.--- Anticipates and proactively responds to the need for information from customers, rehab staff, and LHS management. Continually and appropriately distributes appropriate information throughout the assigned area.--- Communicates effectively and fluently with key management personnel of all assigned facilities as well as with LHS corporate personnel. Proactively shares ideas for the assigned area, as well as timely carries out corporate directives for the area. Fiscal Management--- Able to develop budgets for all assigned facilities and train Rehab Directors to do the same.--- Thorough understanding of the reimbursement system(s) that drives revenue for all assigned facilities, with ability to educate LHS employees and key customer personnel, at all assigned facilities.--- Proficient at offering a variety of suggestions on how clinical and operational adjustments can affect revenue and expenses to meet budgeted goals.--- Understands the contractual arrangement that exists between LHS and each assigned customer.--- Generates all activity reports as requested.--- Able to respond to any rehab Additional Documentation Request (ADR) and denials for the area and train therapy personnel to do the same. Job Title: Multi-Site Manager
Department: Operations
Responsible To: Regional Director of Operations -or Vice President
FLSA Status: Exempt, Salaried

Summary: Responsible for fiscal, clinical, operational, quality management, census development, developing and maintaining relationships with customers, clients, employees, and supervisors in three or more facilities based on geographic or census needs. Is responsible for managing Rehab Directors (RD) in their non-home-based site and staff of their base site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpersonal
--- Sophisticated and effective communication with customers whereby Multi-Site Manager (MSM) is viewed and consulted, by customers, as a valuable resource and an individual who adds value.
--- Anticipates and proactively responds to the need for information from customers, rehab staff, and LHS management. Continually and appropriately distributes appropriate information throughout the assigned area.
--- Communicates effectively and fluently with RDO and ARCS and with LHS corporate personnel. Proactively shares ideas for the assigned area and works closely with RDO to carry out corporate directives for the area.
Fiscal Management
--- Able to develop budgets for all assigned facilities.
--- Good understanding of reimbursement system(s) that drives revenue for assigned facilities, with ability to educate LHS employees and key customer personnel, at all assigned facilities.
--- Able to offer a variety of suggestions on how clinical and operational adjustments can affect revenue and expenses to meet budgeted goals, and takes every available action to enhance financial performance.
--- Monitors site productivity, efficiencies, expense management.
--- Generates all activity reports as requested.
--- In conjunction with the RDO, oversees Additional Documentation Request (ADR) and denials for assigned sites.

Clinical Management
--- Maintains RD responsibility and training at base site while overseeing the excellence of clinical practice at the other sites that assist rehab department(s) in meeting budget and productivity goals.
--- Supports Director of Compliance and Education to enhance caseload development and clinical service reach at assigned sites.
--- Able to assess patients' needs and develop clinical programming appropriate for the facility census and to meet the customers' expectations and needs.
--- Encourages LHS employees to develop clinical skills that advance LHS and customer priorities.
--- Able to direct others in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
--- Coordinates facility and community education programs.
--- Oversees clinical practice patterns of the department.
Operational Management
--- Makes operational decisions in accordance with LHS Policies and Procedures.
--- Able to prioritize and multitask.
--- Participates in internal/external marketing efforts to increase and improve patient census and census mix: this includes networking events, community education and direct face-to-face contact with referral sources.
--- Manages staffing pattern to meet caseload requirements with adherence to State Practice Act requirements.
--- Has a good understanding of LHS, State and Federal requirements for all services provided.
--- Coordination of rehab department and facility staff to plan and implement therapy programs.
Human Resources Management
--- Creates and maintains team relationships and open communication with and between rehab staff, facility staff, and LHS corporate personnel.
--- Interviewing, hiring, and ongoing staff orientation/training to meet Facility, LHS, State, and Federal regulations.
--- Effective team building for retention.
--- Counsels employees with the advice and assistance of RDO and LHS' Vice President of Human Resources.
--- For supervised staff, conducts annual employee performance reviews and makes pay increase

Other
--- Understands that the position is highly influenced by the particular needs and expectations of LHS customers in assigned area and so agrees to other duties as assigned.
--- Demonstrates professional conduct and ethics in accordance with LHS policies and procedures.
--- When hiring an RDO is indicated, MSM would be first consideration for promotion to this role.
Qualifications/ Education:

--- Preferred clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) -or an -Occupational Therapist (OT) .

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Rehab directors and LHS employees at assigned sites.
Licenses:
Licensed and/or registered OT, SLP, or PT in state of assigned sites.
