What You ll Do

• Provide adult hematology and oncology clinical care in a rural community setting
• Manage an established patient panel (approximately 15 patients/day)
• Provide consult service coverage for hematology/oncology needs (hospitalists manage admissions)
• Offer inpatient + phone call coverage, including ER and hospital team support
• Participate in appropriate treatment planning and coordinate care with onsite support teams
• Support care delivery with an onsite infusion center and oncology-certified nursing staff
• Participate in disease-specific and general tumor boards

What You Need
Required

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• DEA required
• PA license or IMLC only
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Ability to support the outlined call responsibilities (phone/inpatient coverage)

Preferred

• Experience with adult hematology/oncology patient populations
• Familiarity with outpatient clinic + inpatient/phone call workflows

About the Assignment
This ongoing hematology/oncology physician opportunity is based at a leading facility in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, supporting adult hematology/oncology care in an outpatient clinic with inpatient and phone call coverage. The practice includes onsite infusion and oncology nursing support, with an established patient panel and support from additional hematology/oncology physicians and APPs, plus pharmacy support.

Call & Coverage Overview (as scheduled by the assignment)

• Weekend call: 2 weekends/month (24-hour call coverage)
• Night call: 10 days/month with an ongoing call rotation (1:2)
• Weeknight call: typically 4:15 PM 8:00 AM; phone call coverage includes ER/hospital team needs
