Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Martinsburg, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,218 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: RT - 200 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: RRT required, CRT accepted if licensed before July 1, 2022 Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: Experience in NICU, pediatrics, and adults Description: The position requires assessing patients and planning appropriate treatments based on physician's orders and evaluations. Establish goals, methods of treatment, and evaluate the patient's potential. Set up equipment and administer treatments as ordered, including oxygen therapy, airway management, and mechanical ventilation. Perform procedures such as chest physiotherapy, nebulizers, inhalers, and ABG draws. RTs are required to intubate independently for both pediatrics and adults. Duties may include conducting EKGs during off-hours, but no pulmonary function tests are required. The department values integrity, teamwork, and a commitment to providing the best patient care. Staff members support one another, fostering a collaborative work environment. Weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory, with a call rotation in place.
