Job Description Job Description Active Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) license and minimum 1 years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A contract Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to provide dedicated 1:1 support in
a school setting located in Spotsylvania, VA. This role primarily
involves working in a medical room at an elementary school,
supporting a student with complex medical needs while also
assisting other students as needed. Key Responsibilities: Provide
1:1 nursing care including observation and timely intervention for
a student with a complex medical history Assist with tube feedings
and monitor seizures, including intervention through a Vagus Nerve
Stimulator (VNS) as required Support activities of daily living for
the assigned student and assist with the medical and safety needs
of other students during the day Maintain appropriate documentation
and communicate with staff regarding student health status
Qualifications and Experience: Valid LPN/LVN licensure is required
Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
Proficiency in managing students with complex medical conditions,
including seizure care and tube feeding Strong observational skills
and ability to intervene effectively in medical situations
Compassionate and patient-focused approach Work Schedule and
Location: 37.5 hours per week School-based assignment in
Spotsylvania, VA This position offers the opportunity to support
