The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a specialist in Thoracic Surgery at Holy Cross and Suburban Hospitals. Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60 specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. What you Can Expect: - Non cardiac thoracic surgery - Proficient in all aspect of general thoracic surgery except lung transplant - Special emphasis on minimally invasive surgery including VATS and robotics. - Two Hospitals: Holy Cross and Suburban Hospital Minimum Requirements: - MD or DO - Board Certified or Eligible in Thoracic Surgery - Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia - 2 Years of experience- REQUIRED MAPMG Physicians: - Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care - Communicate thoughtfully (listen, educate, advocate) - Lead with integrity - Value teamwork - Are transparent and honest - Go “above and beyond” for their patients. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package. Effective July 1, 2026, the starting annual salary for this position will increase to $580,000.
