Job Description Full-Time Anesthesiologist – Baltimore, MDBoard Certified or Board Eligible in AnesthesiologyA leading healthcare system in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking a Full-Time Anesthesiologist to join its growing anesthesia team. This position offers a balanced mix of professional fulfillment, academic engagement, and excellent compensation in a supportive, team-oriented environment.Position Overview•Full-time, employed opportunity providing general anesthesia services across multiple specialties•Diverse case mix: general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, cardiac, thoracic, pediatrics, oncology, and trauma•Collaborative team environment with CRNAs and other anesthesiologists•Teaching opportunities available for residents and medical students•Weekend call optional, with additional pay availableCompensation & Benefits•Base salary: $460,000 for call-taking generalists•Sign-on bonus: $50,000•General call stipend: $40,000•Total compensation potential of up to $600,000 with optional weekend call ($7,200 per 24-hour call)•Extra call pay: $250–$290/hour•8 weeks of paid vacation•Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage•CME, tuition, and licensure reimbursement•Up to $30,000/year employer contribution toward retirement plansQualifications•MD or DO from an accredited institution•Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology•Eligible for Maryland medical license•Excellent clinical and teamwork skillsCommunity InformationLocated in Baltimore, Maryland, this position offers the ideal blend of urban and suburban living.
