Job Description Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg / Telemetry for a nursing job in Stephenson, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Staff Registered Nurse (Med Telemetry / Step?Down) – Full Time Winchester, VA Join a high?acuity Med Telemetry/Step?Down team providing comprehensive care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and complex medical needs. This full?time RN role supports a busy 30?bed unit caring for conditions such as ACS, post?MI, PCI recovery, CHF, arrhythmias, syncope, and CAD. About the Role The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate patient care using the full nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and professionalism while supporting patient education, quality initiatives, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. RNs in this role complete annual competencies, unit?specific training, and professional development requirements. Responsibilities may include serving as Charge Nurse, participating in PI activities, contributing to department initiatives, and supporting patient/family satisfaction efforts.
