Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - OR /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM /n• Weekend and weekday call rotation required /n• One weekend day on-call 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM per month /n• One weeknight on-call 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Holiday call rotation as needed /n• Call response time must be within 20 minutes /n• Float to outpatient surgery as needed /n• Work in main OR with 14 suites averaging 28 cases per day with 5 add-ons /n• 1:1 nurse to patient ratio in OR /n• Handle all surgical cases except open heart including neuro spine, total joints, open fractures, general surgery, and ENT /n• 3-shift floor-specific orientation required /n• No floating between units /n• Scrubs provided /n• Use EPIC charting system /n• Work with vents and respiratory therapy support available 24/7 /n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS /n• 2-3 years of OR experience required plus 2-3 previous travel assignments /n• Orthopedic/Neurology experience preferred /n• Scrubbing experience is a plus but not required /n• Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from facility /n/n Facility: /n This medical center operates a comprehensive surgical department with 14 operating suites handling a high volume of diverse surgical cases.
