Registered Nurse (RN) | Endoscopy Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,240 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Must have a DC license in hand prior to start date Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Proof of pending license status at time of submission Description: Endoscopy Registered Nurse position with a 4x10 schedule. Day shift from 07:00 to 17:30. Weekday on-call requirement from 17:30 to 07:00 once per week. Weekend on-call every 6th or 7th weekend with Monday and Friday evening shifts. 24-hour weekend on-call from 07:00 on Saturday to 07:00 on Sunday. Will float per competency within the GI Suite. Ability to function in Pre-op, Intra-Procedural, and PACU. Experience in pre, intra, and post endoscopy procedures is essential. Must have experience with starting and maintaining IVs. Patient age groups include pediatrics and adults. Department ratios are Pre-op 1:2, Intra-procedural 1:1, and PACU 1:2. Possibility to wear scrubs or street clothes, changing into hospital-provided laundry scrubs. Flu vaccine is required for all employees. References from supervisors are required. Candidates must adhere to compliance requirements upon hiring. Successful candidates will be assigned specific modules that must be completed in a timely manner.
