Registered Nurse (RN) | Stepdown Location: Arlington, VA Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,180 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Stepdown RN in Arlington, Virginia, 22202! ```htmlJob Opportunity – Cardiovascular Stepdown RN – Virginia Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Arlington, Virginia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, nights, every other weekend; 4:1 patient ratio; 13-week assignment Highlights: Post-cardiac surgery care for patients transitioning from ICU to stepdown telemetry Comprehensive cardiac experience including chest tube management and dysrhythmia interpretation Epic electronic medical record system (training provided based on experience level) 24 hours of orientation with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams 21-bed cardiovascular unit specializing in cardiac surgery recovery and telemetry monitoring Smoke-free, modern healthcare environment with full clinical support staff Requirements: Active Virginia or Compact RN license required at time of submission BLS and ACLS certifications (current) Minimum 2 years of RN experience Strong cardiac stepdown and telemetry experience required Proven experience managing chest tubes and cardiac dysrhythmias Epic charting system experience (6 months within past 12 months preferred for accelerated training track) Community hospital and Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I and charge nurse experience preferred COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered per CMS guidelines) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This cardiovascular stepdown position offers the chance to work with a specialized cardiac surgery population in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
