Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Olney, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,007 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: Cerner experience, must pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Description: ER Registered Nurse needed for the emergency room. Candidates must have general adult and pediatric emergency department experience. First-time travelers are welcome but must have Cerner experience. Every other weekend and holiday work is required. The unit has an expected patient ratio of 4:1. Daily census is approximately 90 patients. Candidates should be capable of managing ventilated patients and emergency medications. Skills in triage and procedural sedation administration are essential. Isolation precautions and PPE protocols must be followed. Two supervisor references are required. Candidates must complete assigned modules within one week of contract signing. A background in interdisciplinary support services is beneficial. Candidates should be able to manage patient care from adolescents to geriatrics. Candidates may be assessed through clinical review as part of the hiring process.
