Job Description:
MedStar Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical
Therapist to join our Homecare team in Silver Spring. As part of
our not-for-profit organization, this role provides a unique
opportunity to deliver personalized, patient-first health care
services in the comfort of patients' homes. Our ideal candidate
possesses strong clinical skills and a passion for improving
patient quality of life through exceptional care and education.
Assess the patient's physical condition to develop personalized
recovery plans. Implement treatment plans utilizing various
therapeutic exercises and activities. Educate patients and families
on ongoing treatment procedures and physical activities. Coordinate
with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Document patient care and progress, maintaining accurate and
confidential records. Advise on modifications to home environments
to aid in patient recovery. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills. Proficiency in developing and conducting therapy programs.
Ability to work independently with rigorous attention to detail.
Capability to handle the physical demands of the job including
mobility and manipulation of equipment. Medical Insurance Dental

licensure as a Physical Therapist. CPR certified.
