Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is
available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to serve a K-12
school setting in Abingdon, MD. This contract position runs from
ASAP through June 12, 2026, offering 37.5 hours per week over a
five-day schedule. The role involves providing comprehensive OT
services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade,
supporting their developmental and educational needs.
Responsibilities include: - Conducting evaluations of students
functional abilities and needs - Designing and implementing
individualized therapy plans - Collaborating with educators and
families to integrate therapy goals within the school environment -
Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with state and
federal regulations - Participating in IEP meetings and
contributing professional insight Qualifications: - Valid
Occupational Therapy license - Experience working with K-12
school-aged children - Strong knowledge of school-based OT
practices and methods - Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage caseloads and handle documentation efficiently
