Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,166 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience, 2 years of RN experience License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: BSN highly desired, Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program Description: Must live 50 miles away. Three 12-hour night shifts required on the IMC unit. Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret it in terms of the patients' needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients. Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
