Description: This Clinical Education Specialist will serve as a
clinical expert and resource. They will provide education,
consultation, and guidance for a specific patient population. The
role involves addressing complex patient care issues. They will
support improvement in nursing education and practice. This
position includes collaborating as a healthcare provider and
leader. The specialist will assess educational needs and
performance gaps of staff. Facilitation of personalized instruction
to meet individual learner needs is essential. They will provide
clinical supervision for learners and mentor staff and students.
The specialist will promote experiential learning and plan
appropriate learning experiences. Knowledge of universal

Emergency coverage on weekends may be required. The daily census
