NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) PALS (AHA) Registered
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Must-Have: Experience in NICU,
Pediatrics, and Adults. Ability to intubate independently for both
pediatrics and adults. Description: This position is for a
Respiratory Therapist with a focus on respiratory therapy. The role
involves assessing patients and planning appropriate treatments
based on physician's orders and evaluations. You will establish
goals and methods of treatment according to the patient's
potential. Duties include setting up equipment and administering
treatments as ordered, including oxygen therapy, humidity therapy,
airway management, and mechanical ventilation. Additional
responsibilities may involve resuscitation, postural drainage
procedures, chest physiotherapy, BiPAP, CPAP, nebulizers, inhalers,
and drawing arterial blood gases (ABGs). The role encompasses care
for pediatric, adult, and neonatal patients. Team members are
expected to support each other and prioritize the well-being of
patients. Every other weekend and holiday coverage will be
required. Candidates must be flexible and capable of working
collaboratively in a supportive environment. This position does not
involve performing pulmonary function tests (PFTs). Charting will
be done using an electronic medical record system. Requirements
