Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Martinsburg, West
Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry

Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00
AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Every other weekend required
(Saturday/Sunday for day shift, Friday/Saturday for night shift) •
Holiday rotation required for Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years • Nurse to patient ratio of
1:5 for telemetry patients • 20-bed unit with all private rooms on
2nd floor • Care for telemetry patients, post catheterization
patients, medical/surgical with telemetry monitoring needs, and
respiratory difficulty cases • Required certifications: BLS (AHA),
ACLS (AHA), NIHSS • 5 years RN experience required with at least 1
year of travel experience • EPIC charting system experience
preferred • Perform point of care blood sugar testing using
AccuChek glucometer • Place IVs and draw labs from central lines
when ordered • Understanding and comfort with basic dysrhythmia
interpretation required • May float to comparable or lower level
units (telemetry or med/surg) • Dress code requires navy blue
scrubs (nurse provides their own) • Valid driver's license required
with address outside 50 miles from facility • 3-shift orientation
process with first day education modules and shadowing • No on-call
responsibilities • Self-scheduling available for travelers • Call
offs must be reported 2 hours prior to shift start Facility: This
