Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Martinsburg, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,452 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/12/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Martinsburg, West Virginia, 25401! Job Title: OR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years in specialty and 2-3 previous travel assignments preferred. Ortho/Neuro experience is a plus. License: Current RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required for RNs. BLS certification required for OR Techs, CST certification preferred. Must-Have: Must have experience in an operating room setting with a ratio of 1:1 for RN. Description: The position will involve working in an operating room environment. The average number of cases per day is approximately 28, with 5 add-ons. The department includes 14 operating room suites. RNs are not required to interpret telemetry strips in the OR as Anesthesia interprets them. Surgeons are on call during defined hours throughout the week and weekends. RNs may be required to float to outpatient surgery as needed. Scrubs will be provided. The facility employs an electronic medical record system for charting. Common types of surgical cases handled include neuro spine, total joints, open fractures, general, and ENT. Scrubbing is a plus for RNs, although it is not a requirement. There are varied start times for shifts, primarily during day and evening hours, but no self-scheduling is available for travelers. Techs are responsible for cleaning and turning over operating rooms without designated aids or housekeeping.
