Additional Job Description: West Virginia University School of
Medicine and the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and
Reproductive Sciences seek a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist
(ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or
Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice
in Martinsburg, West Virginia and will also provide remote
services. Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the
areas of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. In addition to providing
excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be
actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and
fellows . Leadership opportunities may be available.
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign
equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful
candidate must have completed an ACGME accredited Obstetrics and
Gynecology residency program, as well as a Maternal-Fetal Medicine
(MFM) fellowship program. Successful candidates must be board
certified/eligible in MFM by the American Board of Obstetrics and
Gynecology. All qualifications must be met by the time of
appointment. You'll become part of a dedicated team making a
profound impact on the lives of mothers and children across our
state and beyond. Our Obstetrical outreach program strengthens our
comprehensive enterprise, complemented by an active maternal
transport service and an MFM consulting team that conducts its own
ultrasounds. Additionally, our department of Pathology houses an
accredited Cytogenetics Laboratory for prenatal diagnosis The West
