Regional Chair of Family Medicine WVU Medicine Eastern Division
Martinsburg, West Virginia West Virginia University School of
Medicine seeks a Regional Chair of Family Medicine for its Eastern
Division. This is an exceptional leadership opportunity for a
physician executive with unwavering commitment to excellence in
clinic care, education and research. - The Regional Chair of the
Department of Family Medicine - Eastern Division is responsible for
overall clinical, educational, scholarship/research, and service
provided by the Department on the Eastern campus of the WVU School
of Medicine and WVU Medicine East. - As part of the WVUH-E hospital
leadership team, the successful candidate will work to align
clinical, educational and scholarly initiatives, as well as focus
on physician recruitment, retention and strategic planning for
clinical and academic initiatives and services. - Support and
supervise the Residency Program Director of Family Medicine
residents. - Overall responsibility for cost-effective management
of departmental finances. Martinsburg/Harpers Ferry, West Virginia
- Located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, near
Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland. - Easy access to three
