Job DescriptionInova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated Experienced Registered Nurse to join the Overflow team. This role will be full-time night shift/day shift part time or PRN. The Overflow Unit (26 Main) at Inova Loudoun Hospital is an 18-bed unit. Be part of the team that sets the foundation for something great.*Featured Benefits:** *Committed to Team Member Health: *offering medical, dental and vision coverage, and a robust team member wellness program.* *Retirement: *Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions starting on your first day.* *Tuition and Student Loan Assistance: *offering up to $5,250 per year in education assistance and up to $10,000 for student loans.* *Mental Health Support: *offering all Inova team members, their spouses/partners, and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions, per person, per year, at no cost.* *Work/Life Balance: *offering paid time off, paid parental leave, and flexible work schedules*Registered Nurse (RN) Overflow Job Responsibilities:** Performs comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting multiple data sets and synthesizing their relationships.* Formulates individualized plans of care based on assessment findings and interpreting trends in patient populations to achieve best practice.* Conducts all patient care in a patient and family centered manner, integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care.* Advocates for patients' rights from the patient and family perspective and provides counsel while acting as a resource to resolve issues.* Accesses resources from all disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes and coordinates healthcare and alternate services for patient/family transition planning.* Documents all patient care activities, as per documentation standards, and assists healthcare team members with documentation.* Evaluates the process to achieve outcomes, anticipates patient variances and makes revisions to plans of care.* Makes clinical decisions based on experience, patient population data and intuition while promoting the development of clinical decision making of all team members.*Registered Nurse (RN) Overflow Additional Requirements:** *Work schedule: *This role will be full-time night shift/day shift part time or PRN.* *Education: *BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an associates degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.* *Experience*: Requires a minimum of 1-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.* *Certification: *Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
