Job Description Now Hiring: Direct Care Aide --- No Experience Needed - Paid Training Provided Come join our team at Meadow Glen of Leesburg and help make a difference in the lives of our residents and family members. We are a small, assisted living community of 40 residents located in the heart of Leesburg, Virginia. Our goal is to treat each resident with respect and dignity. The Direct Care position assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care. Keep proper records of care. Complete all forms and documentation such as change of condition reports in a timely manner. Report observations to licensed nurse/supervisor promptly. Immediately report any changes in the resident---s condition to the supervisor. Vital sign monitoring will be performed as needed. Be knowledgeable about the residents--- biographies, preferences, habits, and interests. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping are maintained Complete housekeeping, dietary, and life enrichment tasks as needed to meet resident needs Encourage/assist with resident participation in available activities/programs Interact professionally with other staff, visitors, and family members Comply with company policies, standards, and licensing rules Assists in maintaining a clean, pleasant, and safe environment for all Perform other duties as assigned Skills Excellent communication skills Ability in multitasking and time-management Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment Reliable, energetic, and self-motivated
