  • --Under the direction of the VP CQO, the Director of Clinical Risk & Patient Relations - is responsible for the supervision and ongoing development/improvement of clinical loss prevention programs and activities, including risk identification and evaluation, regulatory compliance, patient relations, quality/safety/organizational improvement/risk initiatives, and risk-focused education. Related functions include: Supervise the patient relations program and staff, facilitating and enhancing relations between patients, family, visitors and the general public with and its affiliated organizations, physicians, team members/leaders, physicians and auxiliary; Oversee onsite regulatory/accreditation survey activities, e.g., AHCA, DCF, DOH, and The Joint Commission, preparing and/or approving post-visit plans of correction and monitoring implementation/problem resolution; Communicate/collaborate with Claims Manager in timely identification and investigation of potentially compensable events.
