Three meals a day provided at no cost to employees.QualificationsKey Responsibilities:

• Delivers nursing care in collaboration with professional Registered Nurses.
• Under immediate supervision, supports providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants) in provision of patient care; includes recording vital signs, discussing chief health concerns, performing testing, assists with procedures and documentation.
• Responsible for assisting under the supervision of an RN for nursing care based on the nursing process and in compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Monitors, reports, and documents the patients' behavior and physiological status under RN supervision.
• Performs treatments/procedures in compliance with facility and nursing services, policies, and procedures under RN supervision
• Guides the response to patients who are behaviorally out of control or who may be experiencing a medical or behavioral crisis in collaboration with the nurse manager and physician.
• Reports accurately and concisely to oncoming shifts regarding conditions of patients.Minimum Requirements:
  • LPN licensed in Commonwealth of Virginia or another compact state
  • BLS Certification (preferred)
  • Associates degree in Nursing
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing, preferably with children and/or adolescents
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Position is subject to a criminal background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
