Great HillSolutionsis seeking a Program Manager to lead a large,
complex audit remediation and sustainment program supporting a
Department of Defense (DoD) Combat Support Agency. The agency
operates in a highly complex and evolving financial and operational
landscape shaped by recent enterprise-level transformations within
the Military Health System. This high-visibility role requires
strong strategic leadership, deep expertise in DoD federal
financial management, and proven experience managing large-scale
audit remediation efforts. On-site presence is required in Falls
Church, VA.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide senior-level leadership over a large, multidisciplinary
team executing multiple concurrent audit remediation and
sustainment workstreams.
Serve as the primary liaison with senior government stakeholders,
internal audit functions, and external auditors-effectively
managing relationships with demanding clients and adapting to
evolving audit priorities.
Deliver executive-level briefings, reports, and actionable insights
to DoD leadership to support timely, informed decision-making.
Promote a high-performance, collaborative culture across the team,
emphasizing accountability, adaptability, and mission success.
Oversee the execution of compliance reviews, risk assessments,
internal control testing, and process documentation in accordance
with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must have:
A bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent from an accredited
institution, or
DoD federal financial management or DoD audit experience, or
A relevant certification, such as CPA, CDFM, or CGFM
An active DoD Secret clearance.
Experience leading large-scale federal audit remediation programs,
preferably within the DoD or similar complex environments
In-depth knowledge of DoD audit frameworks, including FIAR
guidance, GAAP, OMB requirements, and the DoD Financial Management
Regulation (FMR)
Ability to operate in high-pressure environments with shifting
priorities and complex stakeholder dynamics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability
to prepare and present executive-level briefings.
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with both technical and
non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with federal financial systems, such as GFEBS, DEAMS,
GAFS-R, MHS GENESIS, ABACUS, Advana, and DDRS.
Technical proficiency in data analytics tools like SQL, Python,
Power BI, and R.
Demonstrated success in organizational change management and
strategic communications within large federal programs.
