Job Description
At TravelBank (a U.S. Bancorp company), you will have the opportunity to work in the travel and fintech industries serving some of the fastest growing companies in the world. As a member of the Marketing team, you will be a driving force in our team culture and have an immediate impact on the product we deliver to our customers.
The Project Manager for Canada Market Launch plays a critical role in aligning projects with project goals, developing project plans that outline objectives, timelines, resources, and deliverables. You will act as the conductor to ensure all sections (product, finance, marketing, sales, legal, regulatory/risk, etc.) of the project are in harmony for our marquee market launch in Canada. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful, timely project completion. Additionally, the Project Manager serves as a liaison between departments, analyzes project data, and makes recommendations based on findings. Your main KPI is to ensure the Canada market launch is a resounding success!
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans.
  • Analyze and document business processes through written documentation, workflow diagrams, and high-level mock-ups.
  • Build and develop collaborative relationships with managers, business partners, subject matter experts, support functions, and other stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Create and manage stakeholder updates, including executive presentations.
  • Track and evaluate performance against KPIs, analyzing progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all stakeholders meet timelines; proactively address delays to minimize impact.
  • Shape and manage project scope, drive implementation, and ensure sustainable outcomes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment and encourage team development.
  • Handle team-related issues and ensure goals and deadlines are met.
  • Identify and address bottlenecks proactively to ensure continuous progress.
  • Support other Business Operations initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other project-related responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in highly matrixed and regulated industries; banking or financial services experience preferred.
  • Experience with Canadian regulations, legal frameworks, and risk, compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently and think ahead.
  • Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proactive, self-driven, with a strong desire to ensure timeliness.
  • Proficient in Excel, Jira, or other project management tools.
  • Ability to manage relationships and push for optimal solutions.
  • Innovative, humble, compassionate, open to growth, change, and feedback.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Eight to ten years of project management experience.

      We consider candidates outside posted locations if they live within reasonable distance to hub cities and can report in the office 3+ days a week.
      Location: The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, requiring 3+ days in-office and flexibility for other days.

      Salary range: $105,400 - $124,000 - $136,400, depending on location and experience. We also offer comprehensive benefits, incentives, and recognition programs.
