Lynker is seeking a talented and diversified Human Resources
Director to join our growing business and to help lead Lynker into
the future. Duties of the Human Resources Director will include the
Following: HR Operations and Compliance:
Maintain a strong understanding of
labor laws and regulations and ensure HR practices are compliant
Oversee HR recordkeeping, reporting, and data analysis Mandatory
annual compliance reporting Ensure company HR processes are
efficient, effective, accurate, and compliant Mitigate company risk
exposure Responsible for directing the operations and staff of the
HR department Manage and own HRIS administration Responsible for
onboarding and offboarding processes Set and maintain HR customer
service standards Maintains a strong working relationship with
Payroll Compensation and Benefits:
Manages the strategic relationship
with the benefits broker to ensure efficient administration of
benefit plans Researches, analyzes, and recommends new benefit
programs for the company to remain competitive and manage costs
related to benefit plans Implement programs providing effective
communication and training to employees. Oversee the design and
implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to
compensation and benefits Analyze market trends to make
recommendations for adjustments to compensation and benefits
packages Lead and manage annual open enrollment Own benefits
administration Manage vendor relationships Ensures compliance with
governmental regulations related to benefit programs and labor law,
including ERISA, FMLA, and HIPAA. This includes required testing
and audits Performance Management:
Developing and administering
performance appraisal and feedback systems Providing guidance to
managers and employees on performance-related matters, including
goal setting and performance improvement plans. Manage annual
performance review process Ensure employee performance process
aligns with company strategy and objectives Handling complex
employee relations issues and conflicts, ensuring prompt and fair
resolution Promoting a positive work environment and a culture of
open communication and collaboration Monitoring employee morale and
addressing concerns to maintain a high level of employee
satisfaction The Ideal Human Resources Director will have the
Following:
Minimum 10+ years of progressive
Human Resources experience; or equivalent combination of education
and experience required. Minimum of 5+ years of Human Resources
Management experience. Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree
preferred Professional certification preferred. Must have
experience in all areas of responsibility listed above Must be
proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and
professionalism. Must have excellent organizational and
communication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and
divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common
fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and
percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to write
reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to
effectively present information and respond to questions from
groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and
colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and
tactful manner. Demonstrated knowledge of legal requirements
related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal
risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Ability to maintain a
high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to
dealing with issues. Demonstrated intermediate level of competence
in the areas of leadership, collaborative and service orientation,
organizational insight, strategic perspective, change management,
diagnostic insight, broad HR knowledge, coaching and counseling
collaboration, and influence. Previous experience working in HR for
a government contractor is a HUGE PLUS! Additional Competencies of
