Job Description:

VP, Clinical Outcomes - Central Florida Health The VP of Clinical Outcomes works in collaboration with administrators, physicians, Chief Quality Officer, Chief Clinical Officer(s) and other clinical team members to improve patient safety and quality across UF Health Central Florida Division. Plans, directs and supervises the clinical activities for Quality Management, Organizational Outcomes and Patient Safety. Establishes best practices, procedures, strategies and objectives specific to quality and safety indicators. Ensures execution and evaluation of outcomes on clinical indicators and ensures high-quality practice in the patient care areas and departments. Acts as a liaison to the medical staff, administration, hospital departments and committees to accomplish performance improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives. Responsibilities include the assurance that the CMS and Leapfrog rankings, as well as any other quality indicators, advance in quality reporting resulting in an advancement in patient care and outcomes. Works with the leadership team to ensure that the organization is in a constant state of regulatory compliance and produces high clinical outcomes. This consultant serves as a facilitator for projects and performance improvement teams utilizing a variety of PI methodologies embraced by the organization, including Lean Six Sigma and Rapid Cycle Improvement.
Job Opening Qualifications Education Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in nursing, health care or related field required.
    Special Skills and Experience:
    • 5 years of progressive management experience in a comparable health care entity.
