Job Description:
The Intelligence and Operations Solution division at Leidos
currently has an opening for an Aerospace Stress Engineer to work
in our Bridgewater, VA office. In this role, you’ll leverage
hands-on engineering to solve real-world aerial intelligence and
surveillance challenges. Join a creative, mission-focused team

compensation will be aligned to candidate experience. Primary
Responsibilities Perform static, linear structural analysis for
airframe modifications. Analyze metal, non-metallic, and composite
structures using both Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and hand
calculation methodology. Write structural test plans, test reports,
and structural analysis reports. Provide technical inputs to
mechanical designs during all phases of the design lifecycle.
Present analysis assumptions and results to key stakeholders during
internal and external design reviews. Review and approve deviation
request and non-conformance reports. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural
Engineering with a minimum of 2- 4 years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with FEA and CAD software. Strong knowledge of
static/dynamic engineering mechanics. Experience with technical
writing and presentations. Must be able to obtain and maintain a
Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency
with FEMAP and SolidWorks. Damage tolerance, vibration, fatigue,
and/or thermal analysis experience. Experience with Army Aviation
Engineering Directorate (AED) and NAVAIR requirements. Working
knowledge of FAA rules and regulations. Active Secret clearance.

posting date as listed above. Pay Range: Pay Range $69,550.00 -
$125,725.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general
guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.

equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement
